Projects Worked at Sungard Technology Services, Pune

At SunGard / FIS, I worked on running Automation Horizontalization Team and Manual testing team

1)   WRA Automation Horizontal – Lead WRA Automation Horizontal Initiative and managing multiple automation testing projects for 5 different business units comprising of 18+ different Automation Testing Projects.

Objective was to setup common practices, defining and maintaining standard automation metrics, cross utilization of resources, frameworks, tools etc.

(Value Added:

                                          i.    Reviewed and suggested changes in automation framework to remove Memory Leakage, Reduce Execution Time and making regression suite run without manual intervention

                                         ii.    Started with Code Review Process, Check-in to SVN process

                                        iii.    Initiated Unit Testing within one of the projects and proved to the management that we are Technical QA and can do the job of Development Activities

                                       iv.    Evaluated and Suggested migration for few projects from QTP / UFT to Selenium and for one project from Rational Robot to UFT.

2)   Relius 360 : Worked on Relius Suite of Products for managing Manual and Automation Testing. Relius is a suite of products in US Retirement Domain.

Worked on the Web Conversion project, where the product has undergone a 360 degrees change and desktop based application (VB) was converted to .NET (C#)

Started with conversion project of Rational Robot Scripts to QTP. There were close to 7000 scripts; which needs to be converted to QTP; and in addition to this; there were new tests; which needs to be developed as new features were getting introduced in the product.

3)   Planning Station , Wealthstation 3.0, Investor’s View : Automation and Performance Testing Projects : Worked for WS Suite of Products for managing Automation and Performance Testing Activities. coordinating with product management, manual testing teams to identify the manual tests to be automated, estimating the efforts required to complete the tests in the automation queue capacity planning, resource planning, monitoring and controlling the tasks, preparing and publishing weekly status reports

(Value Added: Designed Hybrid Automation Framework, Helped in Test Data Preparation for performance testing activities, Personally worked on performance testing activities for taking page load readings using HTTP Watch)

4)   Planning Station :  Planning Station is a Financial Planning Product; This is Manual Testing project; which I am working on since last 80+ months. Participating in sprint planning meetings, providing estimates for individual tickets considered for sprint, conducting daily scrums, participating in sprint review process.

(Value Added: Because of my product knowledge and domain knowledge in Financial Planning, I was acting like Business Expert from QA perspective and had been helping to the new members for learning the product and helping in critical testing and some complex workflow testing)

5)   STN22C-2 : Manual Testing ((From Sept 1^st 2006 to March 31^st 2008)) - This project is related to the Rule 22c-2 adopted by SEC ( Security and Exchange Commission) under the Investment Company Act of 1940. This rule is to combat the market timing and frequent trading abuses that occurred during the past several years in the mutual fund industry.

This project is basically a platform, which helps others to develop web sites quickly and easily and it also helps the company for generating and maintaining lead information for the clients. It contains different tools such as Shakalead, Sitebuilder, Ecom etc
